Thank you for taking the time to explore the Journal!

The time has eventually come to say goodbye to Eco Gypsy & welcome a new multi faceted rebrand that I have put my name to - Electra.

This is a rebrand not a a new brand and so much of it will look familiar but after taking most of 2024 to rebuild both personally and professionally it was time to combine everything I do in one place under my name and I am very grateful to all of you for joining the new journey.

As the world has embraced sustainability since I first started over a decade ago then I am looking forward to featuring and discovering brands & people all over the world who we can feature as well as keeping up with ethical news and products.

Our iconic shell dresses and destination wear are still available under the Eco Gypsy label that will slowly be phased out as we restock with new labels…..replacing the old would have created unnecessary waste that I would not condone. That is why our old domain will point to Electra until Spring 2025.

My favourite Eco Escapes globally are divided into different ecosystem sun headings and I look forward to adding many more as my new journey continues discovering the best places to travel to globally that strive to help the environment and communities they are located in.

A revived Eco Heroes section with interviews with incredible people and sustainable businesses will also be available soon. Here in the Journal I look forward to sharing stories from amazing people, products and places all over the world.

The newest addition to this new site is my consultancy services - after 25 years writing about other brands in the ethical realm of fashion & travel - I will be offering my global experience to other brands or individuals. I am very excited about this next step, especially in the ever evolving world of sustainable fashion.
